Lowland Gorillas are smaller than Mountain Gorillas. Males will have more redish or greyish hairs than their females counterparts, and most often males will have a chestnut or silver color on their heads and neckes. These different colored hairs extend down to the center of their backs, thus the name of "Silverbacks".
They are herbivores, most often eating fruit, leaves, tree bark, and even ants or other insects. 
No "McDonalds" for this guy.
